As districts plan for the remainder of the 2025–26 school year and beyond, understanding the funding landscape is critical. This 60-minute webinar offers school and district leaders a practical snapshot of current K–12 funding at the federal, state, and local levels.
Join Dr. Paige Whitlock, Literacy Director at NoRedInk, and Dr. Jenny House, President of RedRock Reports, as they review the most accessible funding sources to support instructional programs, including federal funds that may be used for language arts products and services. Our Speakers
Dr. Paige Whitlock
Dr. Paige Whitlock has spent three decades in literacy education. She has taught middle and high school English and ESOL in seven states and supervised English departments in schools and central office. In her former position, she coordinated the curriculum and instruction for 1,000 English and dually certified teachers who serve 88,000 students. Her passion for literacy was the impetus for her research in disciplinary literacy at Virginia Tech where she was the recipient of the 2021 Dissertation Award. Dr. Whitlock earned her Bachelor’s degree in English at Drake University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Missouri, St. Louis and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech.
Dr. Jenny House
Dr. House is President of RedRock Reports, an education funding services company. A noted education market leader, Dr. House is a former teacher, reading specialist, school and district administrator, university instructor and educational technology innovator. In the private sector, she has led engineering education and marketing programs for Hewlett-Packard, Apple Computer, held executive positions with multiple startups and other leading K-12 organizations and currently serves as an advisor to ed tech companies and venture capital firms investing in education.
